European Week 2023: The biker party of the year in Carinthia

There are events that you simply can’t afford to miss, and for all motorcycle enthusiasts, European Bike Week is at the top of that list. 2023 makes the event even more exciting as we have three reasons to celebrate.

But before I delve into that, a quick note: Anyone looking to take advantage of the time around Bike Week to explore scenic Carinthia can find plenty of inspiration on my blog at www.Kaernten-Guide.de. There, you’ll find information about the most beautiful panoramic roads, destinations, and events in the region.

Why 2023 is a special year

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the European Bike Week, the 120th history of Harley-Davidson, and the 40th wave of the Harley Owners Group. Yes, you heard that right! Three milestones in one—now if that’s not a reason to celebrate!

The dream setting of Carinthia.

The Großglockner High Alpine Road offers an incomparable nature experience in the high mountains.

Before the party kicks off, the journey through the breathtaking Alpine landscapes is already worth it. And once you arrive in Carinthia, a network of winding roads and spectacular alpine panoramas await you. Add to that the legendary lake loop, which takes you past the iconic Harleywood sign. Not to forget, the striking Harley-Davidson sculpture that welcomes you right at the entrance to the town.

What to expect: Bikes, bikes, and even more bikes.

You can look forward to the latest models from Harley-Davidson, particularly the technologically impressive CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide. These bikes represent the pinnacle of Grand American Touring and are a must-see for anyone interested in innovative motorcycle technology.

Harley-Davidson Dealer – Highlight of the European Bike Week: Who will be there in 2023?

Last year, the European Bike Week managed to attract a considerable number of visitors, albeit not to the extent of previous years. Thankfully, the usual traffic jams that are common from Thursday onwards were notably absent, much to the relief of many involved.

Dealers from various corners of Europe were present. Notably, the Harley-Davidson Fashion Store from Sylt stood out, offering an extensive range of products at Faaker See and is expected to return in 2023 as well. Other German participants included Harley-Davidson Hamburg, Rhein-Neckar, H-D Würzburg, and the Harley Factory Group, which turned heads with their spectacular LiveWire Clubstyle. We’re all eager to see what innovations the group will present this year.

European dealers like Harley-Davidson Katowice from Poland, H-D Vienna, Graz, H-D Fischer, H-D Avellino, H-D Civitanova, and H-D Sopron have also announced their participation. Not to forget the H-D-owned merchandise tent, which will also be back again.
