About BikeWeeksRock

Welcome to BikeWeeksRock — a guide to major international bike weeks and motorcycle events.

Who’s Behind This Site?

My name is Alex Haselhoff. I’m a filmmaker based near Stuttgart, Germany. For many years, I’ve been regularly attending bike weeks on both sides of the Atlantic — from European Bike Week at Faaker See in Austria to Daytona Bike Week in Florida — camera in hand, capturing what these events are really about.

BikeWeeksRock is where I share everything I’ve learned along the way: event guides, route tips, photo galleries, video coverage, and the kind of practical insider info you only get from actually being there.

Why This Site Exists

I started BikeWeeksRock because, after years of filming at these events, I had collected far more footage, knowledge, and small insider details than would ever fit into a single video. The kind of stuff you only pick up by showing up year after year — which side streets are worth walking, when the crowds peak, which spots are worth your time and which aren’t.

This site is where I put all of that. No hype, no overblown rally-vibes copy — just honest coverage from someone who keeps coming back.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Event Guides — Coverage of bike weeks I’ve attended in person (Daytona, European Bike Week / Faaker See) plus research-based guides on other major rallies
  • Travel & Route Tips — Where to stay, what to ride, and how to plan your trip
  • Photo & Video Content — Footage and images from the events themselves
  • Insider Tips — For events I’ve personally covered, the details you only pick up by being there
